Well, it's official. We definitely moved to the right city....Recently we discovered that we are very close to a MAYFIELD DAIRY!! THAT SERVES VERY CHEAP AND DELICIOUS ICE CREAM! AND HAS A TOY STORE!! Dieting is officially over-I have already been twice and have another trip planned. The first trip we took was with April and Larianna and was so much fun that we decided to take Grandma and Grandpa there a week later. Here are a few pictures from the trips:

Now! While I have a few minutes (Caitlin and Matthew are in preschool and Hannah is taking a morning nap) I'll give you a brief update on life at our house-

Caitlin is about three weeks away from being all done with preschool and is very excited about going to Kindergarten next year. Her preschool class recently took a field trip to visit the school-the highlight of the trip was of course eating at the cafeteria ("rablioli and garlic bread and corn and pears and CHOCOLATE MILK!!"). Actually thats all I heard about. Other than Kindergarten talk though, Caitlin is into dragons right now. She and Matthew play dragon run (they pretend they are being chased by the bad dragons and run around like crazy people) and will have 10 minute dialogs about what the mean dragons are doing and what they are going to do to get them. (it's kinda like a watered down version of cops and robbers I guess). She is still playing tee ball and has started diving head first for home plate. The funniest thing she has done on the baseball field though was at her last game...she had hit the ball and was waiting on second base when her teammate hit the ball right at second base...at which point Caitlin goes running after it and gets it. The other team was very grateful :). Overall Im so very proud of her...I can't believe what a big girl she is getting to be...she gets more beautiful every day-

Matthew is growing like crazy too...its a good thing shorts season is approaching because all of his pants are like little capris...they come up around his ankles because he's getting so tall! He has become a little sponge recently-he picks up on everything you say and tries to repeat it, or asks what you mean by it (which is sometimes embarrassing when mommy or daddy has used language that they shouldn't have). One of his favorite phrases is "that scared me to WHOLE death!" and he says it whenever someone is doing something he doesn't like (mommy playing piano, daddy blowing his nose, caitlin taking his toys...Hannah crying-it all scares him to whole death apparently). He LOVES to swing on our playground...learning to pump all by himself might have been the best thing that ever happened to him-all that boy wants to do is go outside and play on that playground. He also loves playing baseball and is one of the best hitters on his team (so his mommy says...). He looks adorable in his uniform-i have pictures of him but I think they are on the other computer so you'll have to wait for those. Also, he's turning out to be quite a good big brother-Hannah cannot get enough of him and just laughs and laughs when he "changes his voice" for her (he does this wierd little voice sometimes when he talks to her). She seems to be obsessed with his white hair and tries to get it whenever she can.

Speaking of Hannah...at 6 months old she is probably cuter than she has ever been. She's got two little bottom teeth and has the biggest brightest smile you've ever seen-and she is ALWAYS smiling. Or laughing...or trying to get your attention by blowing bubbles. She has finally started taking a bottle of formula for me...Im trying to get her totally weaned by this summer and it's going well. She can hold the bottle for herself and will drink about 3-4 oz at a time. She is not really sleeping through the night anymore-she will wake up anywhere from 1 to three times a night, and eat solidly, though Im pretty sure she could do without. Im trying to get the courage to let her "cry it out"...but i just can't bring myself to do it yet. She is also eating solids now-and her favorite food is bananas-though she also likes squash and sweet potatoes. For some reason she doesn't like pears, applesauce or peaches-which Caitlin and Matthew loved. Im pretty sure she'll grow into them though.

Not much else to report now...plus Hannah bo is calling me-gotta run!
